Panglao Island Beach
Resort, Bohol, Philippines
Panglao island in Bohol
named one of the best secret beaches on earth. It is an island in the
Philippines located in the Central Visayas, with an area of 80.5 sq.
kilometers. Politically, it is divided into two municipalities: Dauis and
Panglao, part of Bohol Province. Panglao is located southwest of the island of
Bohol and east of Cebu. It is a popular tourist destination in the Philippines
and includes several small islands like Gak-ang, Pontod, and Balicasag. Bohol
is a small island that houses the Chocolate Hills and the Tarsier. Visitors can
tour the island in one day and spend the rest of their stay in the beautiful
white sand beaches of Panglao. Otherwise, vacationers can also try island
hopping, diving, snorkeling, and dolphin watching. If you want to see
the majestic Chocolate Hills, the best time to go to Bohol is from January to
April. If you are after a good deal of beach time, avoid November and December
(since many tourists go here during this time) as well as May, which is when the
locals celebrate the Tagbilaran Fiesta. Expect many people coming in during
this time. Panglao Beach looks so much
better during low-tide since the expanse of white sand is wider. The view of
the beach during breakfast was relaxing. Talking about Panglao most of the
people immediately think about "Alona Beach". Similar to Boracay you
can find an amazing white beach and crystal clear water. If you can avoid to go
there in the very high season Alona Beach is still a beautiful place.
