Ginatilan is a fifth class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines. The hometown of Catholic martyr and 2nd Filipino saint, St. Pedro Calungsod, who was killed during his missionary work in Guam with Diego Luis de San Vitores. Every March is annual festival in honor of the Great Patron St. Gregory the Great. Another must see site in Ginatilan is the Inambacan Falls. It’s located at the secluded part of the town. You can hire a motorcycle that could take you to the falls once you reach the town proper of Ginatilan. Ginatilan is located down 135 kilometers southwest from Cebu City. And can be reach by PUB with Bato via Barili route (approximately P160-170 fare). Travel time would take 4-5 hours. Inambacan falls is picturesque in its own way. The waters are clear and not so deep. It cool to which will really make you feel refreshed. Unlike the famous Kawasan Falls, InambacanFalls is not commercialized and it’s not well developed yet. There are rumors though that the government has plans to develop the said falls where they would build cottages for tourist to stay. So whenever you are in Cebu always try to come here in Ginatilan, a small town with big wonders.
